Chimgan is Uzbekistan's premier mountain resort, located just 80km from Tashkent in the western Tian Shan mountains. It offers world-class skiing in winter and spectacular trekking and paragliding in summer.

Chimgan has been a beloved mountain retreat for the people of Tashkent since Soviet times. The area is named after the Chimgan River and offers some of Central Asia's most accessible alpine scenery, with peaks reaching 3,309 meters.
