Health & Safety
Uzbekistan is one of the safest countries in Central Asia for tourists. The country has a very low crime rate, especially towards tourists. Political stability is high and local people are famously hospitable. Our guides are experienced in ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the journey.
No specific vaccinations are required for most nationalities visiting Uzbekistan. However, we recommend staying up to date with routine vaccinations. For travelers coming from certain countries, a yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required. Consult your doctor or travel health clinic before departure.
Travel insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. We advise all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and lost luggage before departing for Uzbekistan.
Most major cities (Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva) are at low to moderate altitude (200–900m) and pose no altitude concerns. The Chimgan mountain region reaches approximately 3,300m. If you plan to hike in the mountains, we recommend consulting your doctor if you have heart or respiratory conditions.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour start date receive a full refund minus the booking deposit. Cancellations 15–30 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 15 days before departure are non-refundable. In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), special policies apply.
Date changes are accepted free of charge up to 14 days before the tour start date (subject to availability). Changes requested less than 14 days before departure may incur a rebooking fee. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change your dates.
